Chair Yoga is a beneficial class for those with difficulty getting up and down from the floor as well as a great class for those who spend a lot of time at a desk.
Postures and breath work are practiced with the assistance of a chair and other props, allowing students to experience the many benefits of yoga without having to get up or down from the floor. Benefits include improved balance, mobility, strength, flexibility, circulation, respiration, and stress reduction.
People of every age, ability, or experience level are welcome.
Expect to move with your breath, focus your attention, build strength, and increase flexibility. This well-balanced class will get you out of your head and into your body and your breath. Classes may incorporate some optional arm balances and backbends.
Gentle yoga is a slower paced class introducing postures and breathing techniques that gradually build flexibility and strength., reduce stress, and calm the mind. It is suitable for those new to yoga, with special physical concerns, or who simply wish to move at a slower pace. Class may include breathwork or guided meditation.
Barre fusion combines exercises from barre, pilates, yoga, and strength training. We will utilize a variety of props including: weights, balls, and bands to create a fun full body workout. This class is a great way to tone, improve balance, clear your mind.
This class is designed to meet you where you are in your practice. All experience levels will enjoy a steady practice with focus on breath and alignment. We’ll explore the use of props to support our practice and offer variation to poses.
